Candida Control Diet
Candida is a yeast-like fungus that can cause superficial infections in individuals.
Prolonged use of certain medications may weaken the body immunity system and
lead to a candida overgrowth. The basic purpose of the "Candida Control
Diet" is to clear "candidiasis" (yeast) from the body system
by sticking to a healthy balanced diet.
According to this diet plan a person is advised to drink lots of water and
eat a wide variety of nutrient rich foods like fresh vegetables, meat, eggs,
whole grains, fibers, etc.
The diet restricts the consumption and use of refined sugar, refined carbohydrates,
white rice, alcohol, fruit juices, medications (antibiotics, steroids, birth
control pills, anti inflammatory drugs), fermented foods, herbal teas, dried
fruits etc.
