Junk Food Diet
A diet consisting of junk food has always been considered harmful and you won't
find many people who would recommend this diet. Hamburgers, pizzas, french fries,
hot dogs, chewing gum, candy, soft drinks are some of the typical examples of
junk food. Such foods are low in proteins, fiber, nutrients and may contain many
harmful substances like artificial colors, chemical additives, preservatives,
artificial flavors etc.
According to doctors and medical experts consumption of junk foods should be
avoided as it can lead to health problems like obesity, diabetes, high blood
pressure etc. A claim by George Johnson (112 years old and California's oldest
living person), that his diet only consists of junk food has forced doctors
and dietary experts to do some rethinking
