Paleolithic Diet
They say "history repeats itself". Paleolithic diet takes us back
to the eating habits of the "stone age" humans who used to act as
hunters and gatherers to provide for their food. The basis of this diets theory
is to follow the eating habits of the Paleolithic humans and eat only those
foods that were available in that age.
In that era no cereals or dairy products were available to the human beings
and their diet mainly consisted of meat, fish, fruits, vegetables (especially
root vegetables), nuts, berries etc. According to the 'Paleolithic diet"
these foods represent the "natural diet" meant for the human race
as they were consumed during the period of their evolution.
